One of the best things about AfroGospel is that there is always something new to discover, or something old to enjoy!
Some songs are instant favourites, and others grow on you slowly until you realize you’ve been playing them on repeat for two weeks straight.
This week, our playlist is taking us across Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana.
Let’s take a look at what the team is listening to this week.
Rahama — Kaestrings
We’ve spoken about this album already, but it deserves another mention.
Rahama is Kaestrings at his best: reflective, worshipful, and deeply sincere.
The thirteen-track project is built around the theme of God’s mercy and offers the perfect soundtrack for devotion, prayer, and quiet reflection.
Our Current favourite is “Do A Work In Me”

Honey I Love You — Anendlessocean
Honey I Love You continues Anendlessocean’s signature blend of vulnerability, creativity, and beautiful songwriting.
The song is intimate enough to sound like a love letter, yet spiritual enough to feel like worship.
We’re still trying to decide whether it makes us want to pray or blush. Maybe both.
Listen here and tell us what you think
Not Gonna Worry — Kanjii Mbugua
Kenya continues to produce incredible gospel music, and this week we’re revisiting Not Gonna worry by Kanjii Mbugua.
The song combines beautiful melodies with a heartfelt expression of love and devotion to God.
As the name implies, it reminds us to trust God, and leave our worries behind.
It’s uplifting, easy to sing along to, and one of those songs that leaves you smiling.
Defe Defe — Team Eternity
If you’ve spent any time on social media recently, you’ve probably heard “Defe Defe“.
Originally popularized by Team Eternity Ghana, the song has crossed borders and found listeners across Africa and beyond.
It’s joyful, celebratory, and impossible not to sing along to.
Bonus Repeat Song: No Turning Back
We know you’ve heard it a hundred times already.
But we’re still listening to it, and you should too.
