Here’s What Your AfroGospel Artists Did in 2025 Part 2

Hello Guys and how are we doing? We kicked off our “Here’s What your AfroGospel Artists Did” series for 2025, diving into what these artists have been up to this year—their achievements, milestones, collabs, and new songs. Today, we’re continuing the conversation.

Gaise Baba

Gaise Baba has had an amazing year in 2025. On May 16, he dropped the song “No Turning Back II” with Lawrence Oyor, and it’s been a huge hit, probably the biggest AfroGospel track of the year. The song went viral on YouTube, Reels, and TikTok, and is even considered to be submitted for a Grammy in the Best African Music Performance category.

It didn’t just go viral; it made history by debuting at No. 4 on Nigeria’s TurnTable Top 100, which is the highest a gospel song has ever reached on that chart. In no time, it racked up over 3 million streams in Nigeria, 16 million radio plays, and more than 12 million listens on Spotify, showing that AfroGospel is totally mainstream now. Riding that wave, Gaise kicked off his “No Turning Back Tour” in June, hitting up universities like OAU, UNILAG, Covenant University, UI, FUTA, and Babcock, then expanding to cities across Africa, Europe, and North America, stopping in places like Accra, Kigali, Toronto, Atlanta, and London.

Plus, he dropped tracks like “Fugbara” with Minister Ladi, “Benefit”, “Lele” and “We Outside,” and even made his acting debut in the movie Undersiege by Mount Zion film productions alongside Greatman Takit.

CalledOut Music.

2025 has been a huge year for a lot of folks, and CalledOutMusic is no different. Midway through the year, he announced a big signing with Integrity Music, which paved the way for some awesome worship singles—like “Worthy Of It All” released on June 13 and “Adore You,” which dropped in September.

Earlier in the year, he put out “Onyeoma” on April 11, keeping the buzz alive between his label releases. On stage, CalledOut kept busy with headline gigs and festivals across the UK, US, and Europe, hitting spots like Shepherd’s Bush and O2, plus a show in Minneapolis with Duke Concept.

He even played some cozy shows in London during the fall. All in all, 2025 saw CalledOut evolve from an independent Afro-worship talent to a globally-connected worship artist with a new label backing him and fresh singles blending gospel, Afrobeats, and contemporary worship.

Anendlessocean

Anendlessocean (AEO) is making waves in the AfroGospel scene in 2025. He dropped his EP, Sceptre, on June 20, and it’s got six tracks that fans are loving, including hits like “El,” “ZA,” “River,” “Helm,” “A.T.A,” and “P&A II.” Critics are all about the atmospheric vibes and heartfelt lyrics that feel like prayers.

On top of the EP, AEO has been busy performing live, hitting up shows like the Hexagon tour finale in Lagos, and he’s even teasing a Canada tour along with some intimate gigs in London and Europe. The buzz around Sceptre has been super positive, with places like BellaNaija, Culture Custodian, and various gospel blogs highlighting “ZA” as a standout track. It’s clear AEO is really evolving from his earlier work, like the acclaimed Octagon. All in all, 2025 is shaping up to be a big year for Anendlessocean.
