Guess what, guys?
Aramanda is coming, and this time, it’s coming to Ibadan for the very first time. That’s definitely something to be excited about.
Now, if you’re wondering, “What exactly is Aramanda and what is it all about?”
Well, let’s get into it…
What Exactly Is Aramanda?
Aramanda is an Afro-urban Christian festival created by Gaise Baba. It was designed as a space where young people can enjoy music, art, and entertainment.

So instead of the typical concert setup, Aramanda brings together music, dance and also creative performances all wrapped within a faith-centered atmosphere.
How It All Started
Aramanda began in 2019 as a response to a growing need among young Christians — the need for clean, engaging, and culturally relevant experiences.

At the time, there weren’t many spaces where you could enjoy high-energy entertainment that still stayed true to Christian values. Gaise Baba saw that gap and decided to do something about it.
Since then, Aramanda has grown into what many now describe as:
“the biggest Christian party.”
Aramanda Is Coming to Ibadan and Lagos
Another major highlight is the expansion into Ibadan.
Ibadan — April 3, 2026
Lagos — April 4, 2026
This marks the first time Aramanda will be held in Ibadan, which is a big step in taking the experience to a new audience.
One of the most exciting parts of Aramanda this year is the lineup of artists and creatives set to perform.

What’s New for Aramanda 2026?
This year comes with something fresh and exciting.
For Aramanda 2026, the organizers are opening up the stage to emerging artists and here’s how it works:
There are 2 performance slots in Ibadan
And 2 slots in Lagos
Fans are asked to tag fast-rising artists they believe deserve to be on the stage.

The most tagged artists move to the next round, where the community gets to vote.
In many ways, Aramanda is helping to redefine what Christian gatherings can look like.
You can enjoy great music and still honour God.
Faith-based events can be creative and engaging.
The gospel can connect deeply with this generation.
And if you’ve never experienced Aramanda before, this might just be the perfect time to see what it’s all about.
