For gospel artist Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, this season is precisely that kind of moment—overflowing with joy, reflection, and the kind of gratitude that turns the ordinary into something holy.

As if the anniversary alone wasn’t enough reason for celebration, God decided to add a little more sweetness to the mix. Mere days later, Mercy and her husband welcomed their second child—another precious life to love, guide, and celebrate.

In her Instagram announcement, Mercy wrote with overflowing gratitude:

“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy… multiplied our laughter… and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby. We declare: His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed.” 

And in that message, we see the heart of what this milestone represents—not just a personal triumph, but a testimony of divine favor, fidelity, and promise. To further celebrate this new bundle of joy, Mercy released a song titled “Onyeoma” meaning ‘Good God’, which also hinted that it’s one of the songs in her upcoming album to be launched on September 12, 2025.
