Daniel Elijah Oluwatosin was born in Lagos, Nigeria, but hails from Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area in Ogun State. He is the second of three children in his family. His journey into music began at the tender age of seven, which was deeply influenced by his mother, a dedicated chorister at The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT).

His regular attendance at choir practices with his mother ignited his passion for music. This led him to actively participate in church musical activities from a young age. Although he initially aspired to become a banker—drawn by the allure of sharp suits and briefcases—Elijah eventually embraced his divine calling in gospel music, recognizing it as both a gift and a mandate from God.

Musical Ministry and Notable Works

Elijah Daniel’s music is characterized by its vibrant praise and deep spiritual resonance. His debut album, “Victorious Praise,” that was released in 2021, featured tracks like “Igileyin Ogba Mi,” “Oluwa Dide,” “Jesus,” and the titular “Victorious Praise Medley.” These songs have not only topped gospel charts but have also become staples in worship sessions across Nigeria and beyond.

In addition to his album, Elijah has released several singles that have garnered widespread acclaim.
