We love love, and we especially love a kingdom couple. There is something beautiful about watching two people build a life together while also serving God and doing what they love. In the gospel music space, we have couples who aren’t just partners in life but also share music, ministry and a passion for the gospel. So today, we’re looking at some of our favourite gospel couples.

Sunmisola & Yinka Okeleye

Sunmisola Agbebi and Yinka Okeleye got married in June 2023, and the couple have continued to serve together through music. From “Baba Yangu” to “Adun,” they’ve given us music that reflects both their faith and their partnership. If you want to hear them together, start with Adun, a beautiful song about the sweetness and goodness of God.

Eben & Jahdiel

You can’t really talk about Nigerian gospel couples without mentioning Eben and Jahdiel.

Both were already established gospel musicians when they got married in 2013, and more than a decade later, they remain one of Nigeria’s most recognisable gospel couples. They have also shared the microphone, including on Eben’s “Jesu Doh,” a 2018 song featuring Jahdiel.

BBO & Tolamise

And here’s one of the newer gospel couples to watch. Gospel ministers BBO and Tolamise Taiwo got married on May 30, 2026. Both are singers and ministers, making this another beautiful example of two people building both a marriage and a music ministry together.

Mr M & Promise Orabueze

Then there’s Mr M & Revelation, a gospel group made up of husband-and-wife duo Miracle and Promise Orabueze. The couple have built their music ministry together, blending Igbo musical influences with contemporary gospel and energetic praise.

Perhaps the reason we enjoy seeing these couples is because there’s something encouraging about watching people build together.

Marriage can be demanding. Music ministry can be demanding. Doing both requires grace, patience, friendship and a willingness to keep choosing each other.
