Bidemi Olaoba has steadily carved out a significant presence in the Nigerian gospel music scene, capturing the attention of listeners and industry insiders alike. After years of building his reputation through impactful singles and on-stage performances, he finally released his much-anticipated debut album, Tehillah, on June 27, 2025. This album is particularly noteworthy as it marks the first official body of work in his career, surprising many who have followed his journey, as he has not previously launched an album despite his growing influence within the music space. This accomplishment serves as a testament to the idea that one can achieve remarkable success in gospel music without an extensive discography.
The excitement surrounding Tehillah is further amplified by Bidemi’s signing last year with GNT Music, a record label founded by Pastor Blessed and celebrated gospel artist Mercy Chinwo.

Given the buzz surrounding his transition to the label and the expectations of his fanbase, the pressure may have been high. However, Bidemi Olaoba has risen to the occasion, delivering an album that not only meets but exceeds those expectations.
Tehillah, a beautiful Hebrew term that translates to “a song of praise,” is a captivating 12-track album that brings listeners on a journey of worship and praise. This album showcases an array of declarations and high-energy praise, all seamlessly woven together in just under an hour of spirit-filled melodies.
Leading up to the release of the complete project, Bidemi delighted fans with a series of exhilarating singles, including “Give Me Chance,” featuring Mercy Chinwo, “Isi Gini,” “Olúwa Ese,” and “Many Things.”
This album has an awesome lineup with Mercy Chinwo, Judikay, and Ib Quake.
The album’s twelve track list offers a list of praise and worship and while we may not cover every track, here’s a glimpse into what some of the songs are about.
- “No Argument” talks about God’s unparalleled sovereignty. He reigns supreme, unmatched by anyone or anything.
- “Prayer” beautifully captures the essence of how God transforms prayers into testimonies.
- “Give Me Chance” (ft. Mercy Chinwo) comes as an electrifying song of gratitude. Telling others to give you space for you to give God praise.
- “Gbe-Mi Fo” beautifully explores the profound theme of God’s mercy, illustrating how it elevates us above life’s relentless battles and acts as an impenetrable shield against the schemes of the enemy.
- “Sovereign God” featuring Judikay reinforces the notion of God’s unquestionable authority and supreme presence.
- “Many Things” captures the essence of joy as it celebrates the multitude of blessings God has bestowed upon us—both the grand and the seemingly small.
- “Enumiyo” serves as a heartfelt reminder that our voices will forever proclaim God’s faithfulness, echoing the unwavering truths of our experiences.
- “I Have a Father,” featuring IbQuake, combines comfort and strength, highlighting God’s ever-present assistance in our lives. IbQuake’s spoken word adds a captivating intensity, deepening the emotional resonance of the song.

- “Isi Gini?” which translates to “What did you say?” is a bold and defiant declaration against the devil’s lies, firmly asserting that believers will not entertain such deceptive nonsense.
