My Top 5 Judikay Songs

Every generation has a few artists whose voices are instantly recognisable. The moment they begin to sing, you know exactly who it is.

For many gospel music lovers, Judikay is one of those artists.

Since she first came onto the scene, she has become one of the most loved voices in contemporary gospel music. Her songs are heartfelt, deeply rooted in Scripture, and delivered with a sincerity that makes them easy to connect with. And if you’ve ever listened to her music, you’ll know that Judikay has a way of drawing listeners into the message behind every song.

Choosing only five songs was harder than i expected, but here are 5 songs by Judikay i keep coming back to.

1. Capable God

There is a reason this song introduced so many people to Judikay.

Capable God is a declaration of God’s power and faithfulness. It reminds us that there is nothing beyond His ability, and that confidence has made it one of the most loved worship songs of the past few years.

2. More Than Gold

When Judikay and Mercy Chinwo came together on More Than Gold, they gave us one of the most beautiful collaborations in recent gospel music.

The song reminds us that having Jesus is worth more than anything this world can offer. It is joyful, uplifting, and centred completely on the believer’s identity in Christ.

3. Song of Angels (Ndi Mo Zi)

Few songs capture the atmosphere of worship the way Song of Angels does.

Inspired by the worship that surrounds God’s throne, this song has become a favourite during prayer meetings and worship services.

There is just something about the melody and the lyrics that encourages you to forget every distraction and simply focus on God.

4. Dance Anyhow

One thing we appreciate about Judikay is that she is not afraid to celebrate God’s goodness with joy.

Dance Anyhow is exactly what the title suggests. It is a joyful invitation to praise God without worrying about appearances.

Yes, sometimes gratitude looks can be quiet and sober, but for the times you’re ready to dance with your heart, soul, and everything within you, this is the song to go with.

5. Have Your Way

We couldn’t end this list without including Have Your Way.

This song is a sincere prayer of surrender.

It asks God to lead, shape, and direct every part of our lives, and that message never goes out of season.

One of the reasons Judikay’s songs have connected with so many people is that they are easy to understand without losing their depth.

She writes about God in a personal way, and her music encourages worship with utmost sincerity.

Now we’d love to hear from you.

Which Judikay song is your favourite?

Did we mention the one that has blessed you the most, or is there another song you think deserves a place on this list? Share it with us in the comments. We’d love to discover what you’re listening to.
