Judith Sephuma, is a versatile singer who has captured the hearts of millions with her angelic voice. With multiple platinum-selling albums under her belt, Judith has been serenading audiences worldwide for over two decades. Often referred to as the queen of Afro Jazz, her music has taken her to sold-out shows in Europe, the USA, and the United Kingdom, and she continues to amaze fans with her talent.

A well-known artist in the Afro Jazz genre, her music has received critical acclaim from audiences and critics alike. She has an impressive discography, starting from her debut album titled “A Songbird” to “The Journey”. Her success in the music industry is evident from the fact that she has shared the stage with legends like Nelson Mandela and Hugh Masekela, which speaks volumes about her artistry and her place among the greats of South African music.

In 2017, Judith released a gospel album called “My Worship Live.” Interestingly, her passion for gospel music didn’t start in church, but rather during some of life’s challenges. This 17-track album was recorded live at SABC’s M1 Studios and includes songs such as “I lift up my hands,” “Empty Me,” and “You alone are Holy,” as well as traditional hymns in Setswana and isiZulu like “Ke se ke utloile” and “Jehova Moren’a rona.”

Being a lover of traditional hymns, Judith couldn’t release this album without including some of them. The album also features a few songs that Judith wrote herself, including “Everlasting God – (I believe)” and the title track “My Worship.” In addition, Judith worked with Joel Wilson, an old friend and international Nigerian songwriter and producer on “The gratitude song.” Overall, this album is a warm and inviting worship experience that listeners are sure to enjoy.
