In a world brimming with talented individuals, it is often like finding a needle in a haystack to stumble upon someone truly exceptional. However, once in a while, someone like Stanley Ifenna emerges, captivating audiences with his remarkable talents and unique perspective. Let’s look at a couple of reasons why you should check out Stanley Ifenna.
Please wait while we proceed. Are you familiar with Stanley?
I bet you don’t, if I had mentioned Limoblaze or CalledoutMusic, you probably would know them. But who is Stanley?
Stanley Ifenna Asogwa is an afro-gospel singer and songwriter whose love for music started from a very young age. He hails from Enugu state. Through the help of his musically inclined father, he was able to build his musical skills right from a very young age. He released his first single titled ‘Bonding’ in 2019 and from there he went on to release ‘Alright’ and ‘Want’ almost a year later. Stanley is someone who has been in love with music right from a very young age and he believes that God is as much interested in the groovy vibe type of music that is trending nowadays as He is interested in the regular gospel songs that we know of.
Now since we are done with the little introduction, let’s get to the reason why we are here.
Remember the beats of the extended version of the song titled “Joy in Chaos,” the song that took the world by storm? Well, guess what? Stanley Ifenna was part of the magic that made it happen! His contribution to the extended version of this viral sensation is just one example of his undeniable talent and knack for creating feel-good music.
“Forever” is my personal favourite song on his playlist; if you haven’t listened to it, you really should. with its mellow, melodic beat. You’ll want to keep jamming it for eternity. That is something I can assure you of.
Stanley’s knack for crafting captivating melodies paired with infectious beats sets him apart in an industry flooded with superficial music lacking depth. His dedication to infusing substance into his songs distinguishes him as an artist who not only entertains but also resonates with listeners profoundly.
Afro gospel we must say has come to replace Afro-Pop tunes that encourage promiscuity and carefree living in the community. Afro-Gospel music is a perfect substitute for depressing musical genres with its vulgar content that draws young people away from God. They proclaim the good news of God’s kindness, the believer’s new identity in Christ, and their liberation from sin and one another. They also serve as a reminder of what God expects of His children, which is for them to represent Him authentically everywhere they go—even in the entertainment industry. Therefore, we should always encourage up-and-coming musicians like Stanley since it will greatly aid in their development, and they can keep coming up with those groovy songs that we can use in praising and giving glory to our king.
