A Recap of November’s Afro Gospel Gist – Editor’s Pick

November started on low vibes. It was just a good and slow month. However, here are some highlights that we picked from the month.

#1 An Endless Ocean New Album

Talk about AEO, you know we will always be sat. Our fave released a new album titled Octagon, and it contains 10 songs: Signs, D2D, Juba, System Euphoria, P&A, Confidential, Sori, Jesus, LNB, Gratitude. I haven’t taken the time to listen to all the songs on the album but my favoite jam is currently Juba and System Euphoria. Bruh, that song is so sweet. I feel like AEO keeps evolving amd growing on us and we are here to see all of it.

#2 Gaise Baba released a new EP ‘Yield’

The Yield is quite different from what we have always known with Giase Baba. The solemn song preaches about the resurrection of the dead on the last day. It is a soul-lifting song to console people who are grieving their loved ones. He shared that he wrote the song after his friend lost his wife few months ago. You can definiely tell from the lyrics of the song that it must have been a painful experience. The song was released on the 15th of November and it has over 21,000 views on Youtube.

#3 Gaise Baba celebrated his 10 years wedding anniversary

Still on Gaise Baba, the artist and his wife shared some goose-bumping pictures on their Instagram pages a couple of days ago. We wish the couple many more decades of good health. I discovered that Gaise Baba has a song he recorded for his wife, the title of the song is ‘Titilai’. In this life, get yourself a man who can sing.

#4 Greatman Takit released a new song ‘FINDI GEORGE (If I Hear Peem)’

You know that Greatman brings the juiciest music with some edifying lyrics, and this song is no exception. The beat, the lyrics, the sound, every damn element of the song makes it so special. It is that song for your cool birthday party.

When the Bible says that we have wisdom and excellence, people like Angeloh took it really personal. Did you know that Angeloh is an amazing animator, and he is the mastermind behind some of your favorite art covers.  He announced the award on his Instagram post on the 6th of November.
