There is always something new to discover in gospel music. And lately, we have had new songs coming from both familiar names and artists who continue to push the sound of contemporary gospel forward.
From Mike Abdul and Monique bringing back their familiar musical chemistry to Limoblaze teaming up with Seph Schlueter and Prinx Emmanuel turning his testimony into an upbeat declaration of faith, these three releases each bring something different to the table.
Here are three new gospel songs you should add to your playlist.
1. Mike Abdul ft. Monique — “Kilimanjaro”
If you have followed Nigerian gospel music for a while, you probably know that Mike Abdul and Monique are not strangers to each other.
The two have worked together on songs including “Onyeoma,” “Atobiju,” and “No Alternative,” making “Kilimanjaro” another addition to a musical relationship that goes back years.
Released in September 2026, “Kilimanjaro” uses the image of a mountain to talk about facing obstacles with faith and courage.
2. Limoblaze ft. Seph Schlueter — “What I Believe”
Limoblaze has had a busy year, and his song, “What I Believe,” sees him team up with American Christian artist Seph Schlueter.
The song was released on August 14, 2026, through Reach Records and has already made an appearance on the UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, where it peaked at No. 5.
As the title suggests, the song centres on faith and conviction — putting into words the beliefs that shape the lives of the artists.It also continues Limoblaze’s growing connection between African contemporary music and the wider Christian music scene.
3. Prinx Emmanuel — “Many”
Prinx Emmanuel is back with “Many,” his first solo release listed on Spotify for 2026. The song arrived on August 7 and follows his 2025 album According To Brother Nwachukwu.
Prinx Emmanuel uses the song to reflect on the battles, opposition and challenges that can come with pursuing purpose, while celebrating God’s protection through those moments.
Mike Abdul and Monique bring familiar AfroGospel energy with “Kilimanjaro.” Limoblaze and Seph Schlueter give us a faith-centred collaboration with “What I Believe,” while Prinx Emmanuel turns personal testimony into celebration on “Many.”
