There are some artists whose music you can listen to for years and still find something new to love every time.

For me, Anendlessocean is one of those artists. His songs are thoughtful, his melodies are beautiful, and there is usually a lot happening beneath the surface. AEO has also had quite a year. After releasing new music throughout 2025 and early 2026, he eventually released Love Is a Machinery in June 2026, an 11-track album that includes some of his most recent songs.

So this week, we decided to keep things simple.

Honey, I Love You

Honey, I Love You was released in May 2026 and later became part of Love Is a Machinery. There is tenderness in the way AEO sings this song, and that is probably what makes it so easy to return to.

From the same album, Eden gives us another side of AEO’s songwriting.

The song is reflective and melodic, and it fits naturally into the world AEO created with Love Is a Machinery.

Juba

Juba reminds us that AEO’s a great lyricist both in Yoruba and English.

This song was released in 2024 as part of Octagon, and while it is primarily sung in English, AEO brings Yoruba expressions into the song.

The song itself is an expression of praise and devotion, with AEO offering his worship and adoration to God.

Alakori

And now, let’s throw it back to his earlier days.

Before Love Is a Machinery, Octagon, Decagon, and all the projects that have established AEO as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary AfroGospel, there was Alakori.

The song was released in November 2020 and became an important part of the early AEO catalogue.

Listening to it now is interesting because you can hear the beginnings of the sound that would eventually become so recognisable.

The songwriting is thoughtful, the production is understated, and there is that same introspective quality that has remained part of his music over the years.

It is a good reminder that while artists evolve, the things that make them special are often present from the beginning.
