Inside Limoblaze’s Young & Chosen Bloom

Limoblaze has spent years building AfroGospel. From taking the sound across borders to collaborating with artists around the world, he has become one of the genre’s most recognisable voices. Now, he is also thinking about the people coming behind him.

Recently, the AfroGospel artist introduced Teninlanimi Adegbola and her first single through Young & Chosen Bloom, an initiative created to support emerging creatives. But Bloom isn’t just another social media shout-out for young talent.

According to Limoblaze, Young & Chosen Bloom is the kind of support system he wishes he had when he started his own journey. It is designed to equip emerging creatives through funding, mentorship, industry exposure, business education, branding support and creative development.

And the reason behind it makes sense.
The music industry has changed. As Limoblaze explained, artists are often expected to have built momentum, found an audience and achieved measurable success before labels become interested. But how is a young creative supposed to build all of that when they’re still trying to find their feet? That’s the gap Bloom is trying to fill.

Teninlanimi is an interesting example. While she may only now be stepping forward with her first single, she has already contributed behind the scenes as a songwriter. So maybe “new artist” doesn’t tell the full story.
She has already been in the room. Now, she’s stepping in front of the microphone.
And, of course, we’re not going to introduce Teninlanimi and leave you hanging. Her first single is out now, so go give it a listen. You might just be getting introduced to a voice you’ll hear a lot more from.

She isn’t the only creative Bloom is putting forward either. Toria Etuk has also been welcomed into Young & Chosen Bloom. Her single Nakupenda is already out and appears on Limoblaze’s curated Young and Chosen playlist, giving listeners another glimpse of the young talent Bloom is supporting.

This gives us a clearer picture of Limoblaze’s vision. Talent is everywhere. But funding, mentorship, industry knowledge and access can be much harder to find. Young & Chosen Bloom wants to help young creatives, in Limoblaze’s words, “turn potential into progress.” Limoblaze isn’t only thinking about his next song.
He’s thinking about who gets the chance to make theirs.
