Gospel Music Right Now: Mid-2026 Updates

We are right in the middle of 2026 and gospel music is not slowing down. From brand new album releases to exciting concerts on the horizon, here’s a roundup of what’s been happening and what’s coming up in the gospel music space.

Kaestrings Drops Debut Album

Northern Nigerian worship minister Kaestrings has finally released his long-awaited debut album and it was worth the wait.

Titled Rahama (Live), the 13-track worship project officially dropped on June 12, 2026 and is already generating excitement among gospel music lovers across the world. The album was recorded live at the Feast of Light gathering and carries a raw, authentic worship energy that studio recordings can rarely replicate.

Sharing his excitement on social media, Kaestrings wrote: “Finally!!! It is HERE!!! I present to you all my very first ALBUM. A journey that started years ago now marks the beginning of a new season!”

Rahama — meaning mercy — is a fitting title for an album that reflects God’s faithfulness through years of preparation and ministry. If you haven’t listened yet, this one deserves your full attention.

Anendlessocean Releases Debut Album

Also dropping on June 12, 2026 the same date as Kaestrings was Anendlessocean’s debut full-length album Love Is a Machinery.

The 11-track project expands on themes introduced in his 2024 EP “Hexagon,” shifting from expressions of admiration to a sustained inquiry into what sustains love over time. The album reframes love not as an emotion contingent on conditions but as a practice that begins inwardly.

The tracklist includes “Chemicals of Love,” “Eden,” “Pretty Wings” featuring Braye, “Honey, I Love You,” and “Rebel,” among others.

CalledOut Music: New Music and More to Come

British-Nigerian Afrogospel artist CalledOutMusic has announced a new album, The Room, set for release on August 21. The announcement came alongside the release of Everything and More, a joyful new single.

Coming Up: TAPE 2026 — July 10, Lagos

The African Praise Experience returns on Friday July 10, 2026 at The Rock Cathedral, Lekki, Lagos — themed “One Altar, One Sound, One God.” This year’s edition welcomes first-timers Sunmisola Agbebi, Kaestrings, and Blessing Lopez to the TAPE stage alongside returning favourites. Entry is free and the night runs from 7PM till dawn.

Coming Up: Limoblaze’s Young and Chosen Tour.

Limoblaze takes his Young and Chosen Tour to 229 London on September 12, 2026. For gospel music lovers in the UK, this is one to get tickets for early.

Gospel music in 2026 is clearly in a good place and major events are on the horizon. It’s a good time to be a fan.
