Limoblaze’s Solid Ground: Short, Sweet, and Impactful

Have you heard the latest project from Limoblaze?

His new album Solid Ground is a 22-minute listen that feels short, but carries real weight.

It is the kind of album you can run through quickly, yet find yourself going back to almost immediately.

Every song is intentional, and there’s a personal message in every one.

For those who have already listened and listened again, let’s go over the album again together. And if this is your first time, you’re definitely in for a treat!

Here are four of our favourite songs from the album:

1. God Did It

Right from the start, God Did It sets the tone for the whole album.

It’s a mix of jazz and rap in a way that feels smooth and refreshing.

We absolutely loved the saxophone running in the background and the cool, upbeat drum pattern holding everything together.

It is easy on the ears and a great way to start the album.

The song is a confident declaration of God’s hand in every win, every testimony, and every moment that cannot be explained by human effort alone.

2. Cole Palmer

Football fans will enjoy this one.

Chelsea fans definitely know the chant “Ice cold like Cole Palmer”

This song taps into the popular chant, referencing the calm, composed style of the Chelsea attacking midfielder.

The song goes on to talk about how in every situation, we’re confident and unshaken.

We’re ice cold like Cole Palmer!

But beyond the reference, the message is clear. No matter what comes our way, we are covered, steady, and protected.

3. Solid Ground

The title track brings depth to the project.

Featuring IBK and Princeton South, this song centers on one core truth: God is our foundation.

Life shifts, and situations change, but God remains steady.

Solid Ground reminds us that no matter what we face, we are not standing on unstable ground. We are rooted, anchored, and held firm.

4. Tinbake

On Tinbake, Limoblaze teams up with Greatman Takit, and the result is something special.

“Tinbake” means when I cry, and the song carries that emotion beautifully. It reminds us that God hears us, sees us, and stays with us even in our most vulnerable moments.

The production stands out here, blending indigenous elements like the talking drum with contemporary rap. It creates a sound that feels both cultural and current.

It was beautifully written, and a joy to listen to.

Final Thoughts

Solid Ground is the kind of album that meets you exactly where you are, whether you want something to vibe to, reflect on, or just enjoy.
