Have you ever imagined how you will react when you finally meet with your celebrity crush? Have you ever pictured standing side-by-side — not just access to take pictures but also being in their space — having undeniable access and mentorship privilege, learning from people you grew up watching on TV or listening to on Radio Stations? Absolutely awe-mazing – that’s what you’d feel!
We’re sure that’s exactly how the music ministers who have had first-hand privilege of working with Tope Alabi would have felt. The famous former singer at Tim Godfrey’s Xtreme crew, Blessing Akintunde (popularly known as IBK), took to her Instagram page sometime last year, speaking about how she felt by working with Tope Alabi.
In her words, “Immediately I got an email from Mummy that I’ll be getting a box and I have been invited to this Bootcamp with great minds. I shutdown all my schedules for the week and was prayerfully planning for these few days. I’m so excited! Thank you so much for this beautiful gift and for the opportunity to glean from your wealth of knowledge. Thank you so much ma for the gift of access and for the @ahwta_official initiative. I do not take it lightly at all.”

You may be wondering and asking already ”What is this initiative all about?” Well, here it is: AHWTA is a short of “At Home With Tope Alabi — a divine initiative of Tope Alabi that is focused on instructing younger psalmists & being sculptured to have them find wiser expression in their place of calling. It is a platform that gives young gospel artists the access to free mentorship, training, networking, and even collaborations on songs with fellow young ministers or legends.
The first project of this AHWTA initiative is the release of an EP titled “Oro” (Word), featuring ten different gospel artists, and about three other music producers. In one of her posts on IG, the music legend wrote this caption about the project: “1EP || 5 Songs || 4 Producers || 10 Artists || 1 Legend”. The following tracks are songs that are about to be released from the EP:
- Ka Ma Ma Ri (ft. Bbo & Eyitayo)
- Iba (ft. Pelumi Deborah, Ayo Alabi & Kanyinsola Omojola)
- Hallelujah
- Yahweh
- La Te Te Ko see

Apart from being super excited about the powerful release of these songs, the initiative is such a great tool of growth and proper productivity — a scenario whereby the old gets to grape from the new, and the new gets to see how it’s done beyond the surface from the old — a space where the gospel meets growth.
We’re so excited about this new development. It’s not an exaggeration if we say the release of this new EP will give us the pointer to what to expect in the near future. And we look forward to how it will blossom in years to come.
And as for other legends, what will you say to them — embrace this initiative in their individual space or collaborating with Tope Alabi will be the best shot? Let’s hear from you in the comment section.
