Ebuka Songs and Moses Bliss recently released a new song, and unlike his previous songs, there has been different uproars and contentions on social media. Check out what people think about this song.
Without being biased, the first time I heard about the lyrics of the song, it didn’t sit well with me. Away from the funky beat, and vibes, I personally didn’t enjoy the song. But, I don’t want to sound unappreciative, hence I have put up an opinion piece to talk about the song.
The first time I asked one of my friends, Adeleke Babtunde what he thought about the sound, he hurriedly said it is off the record, the song miss road. Make we no be like bad belle, I decided to ask him to more details. Adeleke said, “It’s flaccid to say the least. Good sound, trending artists so it will get a lot of playtime but the song doesn’t give you anything else really. If I am tired and I need ginger to pray, I would choose ‘We have come to draw’ over it any day and I am not alone. So, a 3/10 for effort.”
Do you think Adeleke is right with his score? While I think that the song is probably a 4/10 effort, at least the beats make sense. It is danceable and can be used at the gym for dance tutorials.

On the other hand, I think that the song has no doctrinal impact on the life of the listener. It doesn’t edify you in any way. In fact, I consider it too carnal than it is spiritual. I also asked one of my friends who is musically inclined what he thinks about his song and he has a lot to say.
“The song is just mere paparazzi. It lacks depth! It merely appeals to the senses because it is beauty sensitivity, how about people who are not physically attractive, how should they sing along to the song. I don’t like the merchandising around the song. It shows that it is basically for that monetary purposes. He must have patented the name ‘Fine Boy Wey Love Jesus’ The song is just like any normal trend, it is not sound and it is beauty insensitivity!” Segun
My friend, Segun is right. I know that many people may say it is still a great song. Well, everyone has an opinion.
But in all honesty, I think is too funky. I have always loved Moses Bliss songs, but I think this one is a miss!
