Solomon Lange
Have you heard of “Yabo”? Solomon Lange really did give us that song as a gift in 2012. It was indeed a song of praise on the lips of many that year. He also gave us “Na Gode” in 2019, “Mai Tamako Na” in 2020, and “This Worship” in 2022, in which none of it is short of God-inspired writing.
Solomon is a famous Nigerian gospel singer and motivational speaker. He is from a town called Wasa in Kaduna State. He started singing in his village Baptist Church choir at the age of 9. This early exposure to music laid the foundation for his future career as a gospel artist.
His music career started in 1997 with a small gospel music band. Despite the challenges of growing up in a relatively small community, Lange’s passion for music never waned. His musical influences include a blend of international and Nigerian gospel icons such as The Winans, R. Kelly, Panam Percy Paul, and Mamman Shata. Throughout his career, Lange has released several more albums, including Grateful (2014), Grace (2016), and Victory (2018).

Kaestrings
It’s a surprising discovery to find out that this maestro of Hausa songs that we have come to love and appreciate, is not a Hausa man. Isn’t that incredible? Kingsley Innocent Owoicho-Oche, popularly known as “Kaestrings” is from the Idoma tribe but was raised in Kaduna State. He is a gifted Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader whose music has touched hearts across Nigeria and beyond.
From “Ga Shi Nan” in 2017 to several other songs like “Broken”, “Haske”, “Rahama” and many other songs, his musical journey has been both inspiring and transformative. Kaestrings may not have been a Hausa by birth but he is definitely that by heart. You should check out his songs, they will surely bless you.
