5 Afro Gospel Jam to Add To Your Kids Playlist

Today is Children’s Day, and I think we should dedicate today to children. I have stumbled on different videos on Instagram where children are singing their favorite afro gospel singer songs. Truthfully, it is beautiful to behold. Why do our kids have to sing lewd songs when we have so many other beautiful songs.  Moreover, as Christians. The Bible expects us to train our kids in the way of the Lord. As parents, you are supposed to ensure that your children do not only know the bible, but also meditate on it. Thank God for melodies, and rhythms, you can ensure that they know God’s words from these songs.

In today’s articles, we are going to introduce new songs that we believe you can add to your children’s playlist. Trust me, you will love this one.

  • Elijah Level (Kids Edition) – Gaise Baba ft. Makayla Malaka

Of course, if you have been following our blogs so well, you would certainly know that this would be the first one. This song is good, plus it features a youngster, Makayla. The first time I heard the song, I felt like a kid too. Very beautiful song that you can jam at your kids’ birthday party.

  • My Daddy My Daddy by Lawrence Oyor

This song is old, yet it is evergreen. You will agree that we all are God’s babies, even if we are adults. That is why everyone needs this jam on their playlist.

You are my Daddy

You are my Daddy

And Your baby is singing

I will be singing

And dancing and shouting

For the rest of eternity

I love the lyrics, especially because it again reinstates the facts about our relationship and faith in God. We don’t have an option. We will serve and worship God forever, for eternity to come. We will be here jumping and singing praises unto his name.

  • Joy Joy Joy by Destined Kids

This song is for the OGs. Some Gen Zs, and Gen X do not know these songs. Destined kids were the golden stars of the early 2000s. Almost every Christian household had their songs on repeat. The song Joy Joy Joy remains their best, because it talks about the joy of the Holy Ghost in our hearts. If you want to get your little kids to know some Christian songs originally sang by children, you might need to get them to binge-watch Destined Kids videos on YouTube.

  • I’m In The Lord’s Army by Listener Kids

This is a perfect rhyme for children, especially if they are below the age of 10. Beyond this song, the Listener Kids has several other Christian songs for Christian children. Instead of allowing your kids watch some meaningless, and corrupt content on YouTube, get them soaked into these channels. You will be grateful for it because it will help them meditate on God’s word.

  • Daddy Wey Dey Pamper by Moses Bliss

I had to keep this song for the last because truly God is a daddy that pampers people. Moses Bliss has several songs, but this one seems to be the favourite of most children. Because they can relate with the lyrics of the song I guess, and the beat is so great.  There are several other songs that you can add to your kids’ playlist, but we are simply beginners. I chose and recommend these songs because of the simplicity of the singer and how unique the lyrics of the songs are. While today might be solely dedicated to celebrating children, I believe children should be celebrated daily. Even Jesus acknowledged children during his earthly walk, and he said they were innocent.

Today, celebrate your kids and appreciate their innocence. Finally, do not tamper with their innocence.
