5 Afro-Gospel Collaborations We are Looking Forward To

African Drums

One of the exciting thing about Afro-gospel industry is amazing collaborations that always happen. Every new month, different artists release melodius songs collaborating some of our favorite artists. I’m sure that I am not the only one who loves these collaborations. On the other hand, there are several other ministers who are yet to collaborate with others, and I personally think if these people can work today, the song will be a bomb.

Here are a list of 5 afro-gospel  collaborations that must happen.

Firstly, if you have access to any of the names we mention here, please tell them we will love to see them make our dream come through.

Mercy Chinwo and Nikki Laoye

We have seen Mercy Chinwo collaborate with ministers like nathaniel Bassey, some of the Eeeze Concept Singers, both she hasn’t done much of a collaboration with afro-gospel singers. Now, imagine Nikki Laoye and Mercy Chinwo in the studio. Mercy brings her playful charm and Igbotic vibes, while Nikki Laoye brings her harmonious voice and rapper vibes. Now, imagine the kind of song they would produce, I bet you would put the song on replay. I believe regardless of the song they decide to sing, whether it is love song, rap, worship, or thanksgiving, it will be a hit.

Spirit of Prophecy and Lagos Gospel Choir

What happens when ‘the best choir in the city of Lagos’ meets with the indigenous Lagos Gospel Choir. That will be a banger. The Spirit of Prophecy is best known for their song, ‘Omo Baba’ and their ampiano beat. Each member of the choir brings their unique vibe and personailty to their song. Let’s say SOP is the Queen B of our block, and LGC is the veteran artist of the block, what kind of performance will that give us? I bet your mind is about to explode. Perhaps, as Christmas is approaching, the both group consider our plea.

Banky W, Limoblaze and Chindinma

I intentionally made this choice for two main reasons. First, these three people are known for singing beautiful love songs. Secondly, these people have sweet voice, intentionally so, I believe they would be able to sync perfectly when singing. So, it won’t be entirely bad if they give us 3 songs centered on theme of love – Perhaps, one about the love of Christ. The second about our love for our spouse, the third about love for our friends. Banky W will bring his sweet voice, Limoblaze will bring his lyrical game to the table, while Chindinma will bring her harmonious voice.

Eeeze Concept Singers

Eeeze Concept have proven to be that empire for amazing artists in Nigeria, and these people have given us back-to-back songs that did not only inspire us, but also made remind us about the goodness of God. The record label consists of big names like Chidinma, Minister GUC, Mercy Chinwo, Esther Oji, Judikay and some other artists like Miracle Victor, Great Daniel and many others. Eeeze Conceptz artists should give us an all-star album in 2024. The songs should be focused on different themes, and trust me, it will be a hit.

Izee Smith and Protek Ilebeva

Izee Smith and Protek Ilebeva musical partnership will elevate your spirit and playlists. Trust me, these collaborations will give you a harmonious ride a whole level of afro-gospel landscape. From the soulful to the upbeat, these collaborations are set to redefine the Afro-Gospel landscape.

What other collaborations do you look forward to? Please drop your comments.
